Mwahahahaha

The live Cluedo is coming together - it is rather fabbity. I have been allocated the character of Mrs Peacock. Matt has amazing computer skills and has scanned in a floor plan of the house and turned it into a Cluedo board. Now we have to work out whodunnit ...

And I think I've got my head round this presentation for Saturday night. I don't like doing them, but obviously I didn't make enough of a hash of it last year cos I got asked again, by Mr, in front of a room full of people - so I said yes. Next year I am going to be away for Harvest weekend. I don't know when it is yet, but oh yes, I am going to be somewhere else ...

your live cluedo sounds like a genius idea. my younger bro is one of the youth leaders in his church, and i keep meaning to tell him about what you're doing.

also, you'll probably squee suitably at this, but he writes dramas for his church and it looks like the presbyterian church in ireland are going to see about publishing them! proud? me? whatever gives you that idea?

It all sounds amazing! Let us know how it goes of course. Those computer skills are v. shiny o.o

I like the idea of the live cluedo. How are you managing it?

Good luck on Saturday, Lynn. Let us know how it goes.
You can stay at my flat at Harvest weekend next year!

Hi there...have just been looking at the phrases you asked me to translate, but I don't think I can do any of them as they don't use vocabulary I know! And I don't have my dictionaries here in the UK as they weigh a ton and I didn't think I'd need them outside of Nepal!
If you're desperate let me know and I'll make a stab at them, but they'll be rather messy...

Tell you what, how about you just make up some phrases for me that you do know (but pleeeeeeze give me the English as well :-) ) It's really to demonstrate that if you can't read, ie the lines and squiggles make no sense, then you might miss out on important things.

Oooh, let me know if they do!

Six leaders are dressing up as the characters, then we're going to film some scenarios before the weekend. Then on the day we'll show them to the kids and get them to work out who, where and what with. I think Matt has more idea than I have, I just had the original idea and passed it to him to put into practice!

I am sooo lucky at work at the moment - the last people who worked with me were not at all computer literate, but these two know more than I do, and we have a gap year student on loan for a couple of days a week who has just revealed that he has a BTEC in web design ... oh, the plans we have for him :-)
