Golly, my life is boring! nothing worth writing in here for days!
I have to e-mail four of the five applicants for our job, inviting them for interview, and write a polite letter to the fifth stating that she didn't make it. I also need to stick 147 stamps on envelopes and post them. Then I can go home.
This weekend I'm going to Gosport to see my parents and celebrate my mum's birthday, then hopefully to the Isle of Wight for my youngest god-daughter's confirmation. Somehow I have to get back off the Island and onto a 5.48 train from Portsmouth in order to get home before 10pm. This will be interesting as the buses are useless on a Sunday and my friends (whose daughter is being confirmed) are so disorganised - I will have to use the usual trick of telling them I'm booked on a ferry before the one I'm actually on! If they think there will be any problem at all, I think I might not go. Usually I would just stay the night with them, or come back later and stay the night at my parents, but I need to be home to go to Addenbrookes with Mr Rev on Monday morning! honestly, nothing happens for ages and then it all happens at once!
