Heatwave ...

It's hot! Mr and I were going to walk to the park and have an ice-cream, but three steps out of the front door we made a unanimous decision to go to the corner shop instead.

It does seem to be getting windier again though - I just put our bedding on the line and it's blowing like sails. Hopefully it'll be dry before I have to go out to church at 6. We only have evening service once a month, it's a hot walk there but nice and cool inside!

And getting v excited, the Aussies will arrive on Wednesday morning, three more sleeps! And if I've got it right, they are already into early Monday morning now, and they leave on Tuesday, so they only have one more sleep! Did I mention I was excited ...?

And Dr Who! No spoilers, cos I know some of you haven't seen it yet; but the other day I was wondering what we pay £126.50 a year TV licence for - I think I just found out. Wow!

We did have heat, then the sun disappeared and we had a humungous thunderstorm instead - there were 3 rolls of thunder that literally shook the house. Storms don't normally bother me, but that was rather scary! Now it's still hot, but dull so it's a bit annoying!
