Including this, which my mother told me recently and I couldn't remember properly -
"When you see a statue of a soldier on a horse in a park: if the horse has both front legs off the ground, the rider died in battle; if the horse has just one front leg off the ground the rider died from wounds they got in battle; and if the horse has all 4 legs on the ground the rider died from natural causes."
I don't know where my mum got it from, she doesn't have a computer. But she does listen to an awful lot of late night radio ...
