Kept meaning to post this for days - if you should see me lurking about on MSN and I ignore you, it's probably because I'm not actually there! The computer at work logs me on automatically even on my days off, unless I log on at home and totally confuse it ...

I'm just not very good at MSN-ing more than one person at a time and then only for a few minutes, so I used to not even log in unless I really wanted to see if someone was around. Now the blessed thing logs me in when I'm not looking and I don't even remember I'm on it most of the time.

And even when it logs me in at home, sometimes I go away from the computer for ages and forget that it's on so I don't do the away thing. And sometimes I try and get round that (when I remember) by making myself away as soon as I log in.

So I'm not ignoring you, honestly! I'm just totally incompetent ;-)

You do know you can set MSN to automatically mark you "away" after x minutes, don't you? You should use that, set it up at home and work and hey presto!!!
