Finally done the music meme

1) Total volume of music on my computer: 83.5MB (I had to work out how to find that out)
2) The last CD I bought: can’t remember! Think it may have been Eva Cassidy – Songbird. Unless my “Learn French with Michel Thomas” counts?
3 a) The song that I listened to before writing this: Heart full of Love – not sure who by! It’s on a Soul Sensations CD that was free with last week’s Sunday Express (bought by my friend who stayed with me)
b) Song playing right now: Virgin Classic Rock radio
4) Five songs that I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me:
a) Lady in Red by Chris de Burgh – it’s “our song”
b)There’s a fly on my shoe by Zoe (my oldest god-daughter) – it was one of the first songs she wrote and recorded (aged about 14), and I was in the privileged 10 people to get a copy! She’s done more since and I think she’s good – think Victoria Wood crossed with Dido … I hope she goes on to do something in music.
c) Blessed be your name by Matt Redman – my friend’s 6 year old daughter chose this for her daddy’s funeral – I don’t think she realized how meaningful it was, she just likes the music, but it had most of us reaching for the tissues – the line “You give and take away” particularly.
d) Super Trooper by Abba – I hadn’t heard it for years and came across it on an old tape the other day – it was the “our song” with my first serious bf, aged 18.
e) The Power Of Your Love/Lord I come to You (who is it by? No idea!) for this bit which I have always wanted to choreograph:
And as I wait

5) Which five people are you passing the baton onto?
Ummm, I’ve taken so long over this I don’t think there’s anyone left! So - anyone on my flist who hasn’t done it yet?

It's called 'The Power of Your Love' and is by Geoff Bullock (acc to the cd case insert) and I have Darlene Zschech singing it.
Tags always seem to confuese me, esp the name one, I can only do it in rtf where you just hit the button! *G*
